Qualtrics not only holds the record for the largest acquisition in Utah’s history, but also the largest IPO of any Utah company. One implication of the Qualtrics IPO is the accumulation of top-tier talent to the startup ecosystem in Utah.  This is one of many factors that lead to other successful outcomes like the five Mercato Partners Traverse Fund exits in 2020, three of which were for over $1B.
